XBOX 360 wireless controller for PC install
Gaming PC, Home Theater, ProjectsHere is why I am installing the XBOX 360 wireless controller for PC . So my HTPC is also a gaming rig… and well I am so use to playing games with my Xbox 360 wireless controller. I’ve seen the receiver online for about 30 bucks and that is way too expensive for me. I decided to do what I normally do in times like this. I try to find a deal on eBay. I found this guy selling them at http://myworld.ebay.com/traders-gallery for about 10-12 bucks.
What a deal… The best part is it really works with the Microsoft drivers on Windows 7.
To install is a little drawn out, but once it’s done it works. First you need to go to Microsoft and download the Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows here is the URL I used but there is not guarantee that it still exist when you read this. http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/d/xbox-360-wireless-controller-for-windows after you have downloaded these drivers you can follow the steps below. Please note that these steps were provided by the eBay seller and I am not the original publisher of them.
